LDB Special Series #104 Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed! I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my reward for all the work involved in this project. DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing music here. Since the "Soul cages" tour was one of my favourites, I chose one date from this. This one from Paris sounds nice, it actually came from a 1st copy I was given a long time ago. I had to spend some time on it once I transferred it onto my HD: some micro-cuts had to be repaired, the overall volume increased and some equalising as well made the work to improve it. Also, although on my tape the last two tracks were marked as Message in a Bottle and Fragile, I had the nice surprise of having an extra song featuring Elton John as guest (Come Down In Time, by Elton). Also, I had two versions of Fragile in this recording, one before and one after the E.John song. At first I thought it was the same song performed once but then, listening to both I realised that they were played twice in the same show. ldb length expanded size cdr WAVE probs filename 5:41.32 60227708 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris01.flac 7:22.07 77985308 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris02.flac 5:54.14 62478572 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris03.flac 5:41.02 60157148 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris04.flac 6:26.14 68123372 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris05.flac 5:52.00 62092844 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris06.flac 8:40.56 91859756 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris07.flac 6:00.51 63623996 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris08.flac 3:27.10 36538364 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris09.flac 6:20.52 67154348 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris10.flac 6:15.18 66192380 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris11.flac 6:58.45 73841084 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris12.flac 3:13.58 34181660 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris13.flac 3:39.41 38728076 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris14.flac 6:34.07 69518108 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris15.flac 6:08.15 64950524 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris16.flac 4:14.60 44946764 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris17.flac 5:23.19 57021932 --- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris18.flac 5:29.54 58161600 -b- -- -xx Sting 19910623 Paris19.flac 109:23.30 1157783544 B (totals for 19 files, 0.6206 overall compression ratio)
