LDB Special Series #90 Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed! I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my reward for all the work involved in this project. DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing music here. CONSPIRACY OF HOPE TOUR San Francisco, Cow Palace June 4, 1986 (tour debut) STING 01.Fortress Around Your Heart (fades in) 02.If You Love Somebody Set Them Free 03.Bring On The Night / When The World Is Running Down... 04.Russians 05.Message In A Bottle Sting - vocals, bass, guitar Kenny Kirkland - keyboards Branford Marsalis - reeds Omar Hakim - drums Janice Pendarvis & Dollette McDonald - backing vocals Darryl Jones - bass 14.I Shall Be Released (Neville Brothers, Sting, Bono, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Jackson Browne, Bryan Adams and Joan Baez ) Lineage: Unknown recording device > low generation tape > Aiwa Tape Deck AD-WX828 > Audigy Soundblaster > HD > SoundForge 7.0 > CD Wave > FLAC Frontend (level 6) Haven't seen much of the US Conspiracy of Hope Tour around, so here is one, This is the first show of that short tour. I have here the two sets I think were the best ones: Sting and U2. Both performances are solid and the audience seemed to enjoy the show a lot. U2 opened the show with C'Mon Everybody which was not performed anymore during the tour. They hadn't played on tour since July 1985. Sting had just completed his first solo tour so the band was well. Fortress fades in before Sting starts to sing, so there must be no more than 2 minutes missing. Soundwise both are very nice, I would say a solid 9. You will hear some screams here and there during the show but nothing really disturbing if you are used to the wild reaction of US audiences. If you are fans of these two bands, I may not want to miss this download. Enjoy! ldb -- This came with the U2 set, I have split them that's why some tracks looks missing. - Carlo
