Otherwise I think the recording is not bad at all. The sound gets a bit muffled during 'So lonely' but then opens up again toward the end of 'Walking on the moon'. It changes a bit also during disc 2, and gets a bit muffled again specially toward the end. This show was originally planned in Rome, but it was a particular moment in Italy and there was so much expectations about the Police that it was moved to Reggio Emilia for fear of riots. As the day before, there was many people without tickets outside the venue, and many found their way into it. Outside the venue there were riots with the police trying to calm down the crowd with tear gas. Again, as the day before the venue was packed up with much more people it could possibly contain. Everything seems to happen here, in particular somebody spits at Sting who gets pissed and starts to insult and threaten who was spitting. He often uses the italian insult "stronzo" that means "asshole" (I think it literally translates to "turd"). Sting also does not seems happy with how the crowd reacts to the show. He wants noise, chorus and everything else, and finally he seems satisfied toward the end of the show. Thanks to GP for this alternate source. No eq, no noise reduction, no speed adjustment.
