I wanted to give something back to all the wonderful people who have helped me listen to bands i never thought I would ever hear, or see ever. Their generosity is much appreciated. This concert is my gift to you..... This concert recording was a last minute idea. I recently purchased this recorder and wanted to see what it could do. Our friends invited us to Las Vegas for our first time (my wife and I). I brought this recorder as we were heading out the door to the airport, thinking that maybe I would be able to see The Police Again (last time 11/14) and possibly see what this baby can do. First night we saw the Jersey Boys, thenon Friday I went by myself to see The Police with Elvis Costello (what an incredible surprise). Saturday, it was Cher, and Sunday gambling my arse off. Well I was very surprised! The concert was extremely loud and there are points of reverb, but not to the the discredit of the concert. The quality is decent (Personal Score B), but without a church audio preamp for bass roll off and the DPA 4061 microphones that were coming by ebay, I feel this little baby is a very good recorder and did a great job by itself. This concert is a jewel. Sting's banter about sex and sex maniacs in Vegas is priceless. Without further delay, please enjoy the show.
