Quality is somewhat similar to the mono US Fest 9/3/82 source. Sound is clear as if the taper was near a speaker. The tape sounds like it's low generation. Lacks a little in bass but it has bright highs. Tape ran a little fast and was speed corrected right on the tape deck. Editing was minimal, only to make splices and to amplify the channels just a little bit more than recorded on the burner, to make them as high as possible w/o clipping. There are a couple of small cuts but overall this is a very enjoyable, nice show that most Police collectors should find a worthy listen. Sting skips the second "Some may say, tomorrow's another day" in Walking On The Moon, and I kind of think it's by accident as Stewart drums the exact same way he does going into the first instance of that, and then changes to a different beat when they don't go into it again. Also before "Don't Stand So Close To Me" Sting has to keep the crowd in check, telling them to stay where they are and not go beyond a fence. FLAC Fingerprint file is included for easy checking with Trader's Little Helper. Shntool results also included in each folder. Credits: Thanks to TO from NY for lending me the tape to transfer.
