This is the soundtrack of the show as originally broadcasted (incomplete) on Channel IV "The Tube" in January 1983. I always wanted to compare this to the officially released versions (VHS, LD, DVD) to see if there are noticeable differences, apart from the obvious diferent setlists, but never had the time. I suspect here there is a slightly different audience mix, specially between tracks to help cover the transitions. I always wondered who decided the broadcast tracklist; notice there are none of the songs from 'Ghost in the machine' that were performed. Maybe an arrangement with the management ? There is a bit of the typical tv noise, that's why I havent rated this the maximum. But nothing to worry about. Gateshead is near the hometown of Sting, Newcastle.
