The Police's first gig at MSG back in january 1981.
The quality of this one's pretty crap - but it's probably the most enthusiatic
crowd I've ever heard on a Police recording.
Some from the crowd throws a bottle through Stewart's bass drum skin towards the
end of De Do Do Do and the songs breaks down while the skin is fixed and Sting
leads a sing along of "The yellow rose of Texas" before launching back into the
song afew minutes later. He also comes out with the classic "A real super group
would go off at this point. Three arseholes like us just stand here in a fix"
(at least I think that's what he says!). "It's only a bass drum - it's not as if
it's a real musical instrument" is another classic!

Audience cassette (generation & lineage unknown) - received in a trade.
