If you like the band jamming this is for you. Converting this tape required work. It had noise on the left channel here and there, volume fluctuations and a change in quality in the last three tracks. Let's see all points. The last three tracks are worse quality than the preceding ones. My guess is that the first part of the set is taken possibly from a rebroadcast. There were some nasty noise occasionally on the left channel. They sounded like diginoise, but this was traded in the analog era. Also there was a volume change immediately following the noise, a volume fluctuation like those you can find in stuff recorded with authomatic level adjustment. I think they were introduced during a copy, but not on the master tape since noise were in the first and last three tracks. I resolved this issue taking the right channel and using it to revert the affected portion to mono. You will notice that, but at least there isn't that nasty noise that I found very disturbing. I hope I corrected all noises, maybe there are some more short ones I missed. Here's a list where I edited noises (absolute mm:ss.ddd): @24:55.271 for 0:00.488 [Fall out] @24:59.551 for 0:00.250 [Fall out] @29:32.309 for 0:02.790 [Born in the 50's] @29:35.777 for 0:03.549 [Born in the 50's] @29:42.554 for 0:00.637 [Born in the 50's] @30:50.083 for 0:02.744 [Born in the 50's] @36:37.819 for 0:04.907 [Hole in my life] @53:54.142 for 0:00.675 [Roxanne] @56:11.144 for 0:00.604 [Next to you] @57:00.204 for 0:00.408 [Next to you] There was another on Fall out but I deleted cue points and I do not remember exactly were it was. There were many volume fluctations, specially in the last three tracks. Some were on a single channel only. I had to convert this in pieces trying to mitigate this. Some fluctuations are still there. Lot of work! I think this runs a bit slow. Said that, the recording is still highly enjoyable, being an FM, specially the first part (until the infamous last three songs). No eq, no noise reduction, no speed adjustment.
